How is messaging changing on Facebook Messenger?
Starting January 1, 2019, Facebook will require Page-level subscription messaging permissions. To avoid losing this free functionality, admins must request permission by December 31 .Pages that do not comply with the process will have to pay for the dissemination of promotional messages.
Types of Messages on Facebook Messenger:
There are 3 types of messages with specific functions that can significantly impact your business:
1.- Subscription Messages:

In the first 24 hours that a user interacts with your business through a subscription message, the user can receive unlimited promotional and non-promotional updates.
After 24 hours, the user may receive non-promotional updates and promotional tracking.
This rule resets every time the user interacts with a subscription message.
3.- Sponsored Messages:
It is the messaging feature that allows you to pay for views and distribution of promotional messages on Facebook Messenger.
