The internet has an important place in our lives, both privately and professionally. We are online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In the Infographic Day series, I regularly reflect on the use of the various websites and platforms. Because what happens online? And how much?
Domo recently released the fifth edition of 'Data never sleeps'. In this infographic they show what happens online in 1 minute. And that's a lot. The internet population has increased worldwide. In one year by 7.5 percent, which amounts to 3.7 billion people. And we are incredibly active.
In 1 minute, Google processes over 3.6 million searches. On Twitter, 456,000 tweets fax lists are published. On Instagram, 46,740 photos are posted. In 60 seconds, over 4.1 million videos are watched on YouTube and 120 professionals create a LinkedIn profile. Via Skype, 154,200 users contact their family members, friends or customers and Spotify adds 13 songs to their database.
