Digital: new measures for connected and sustainable territories

The Very High Speed University, organized in Bourges on October 12 and 13, was an opportunity for the Vice-President of Transition and Adaptation to Climate Change for the Manche department to present the conclusions of her work, carried out with the support of the General Directorate of Enterprises .
These recommendations consist of mobilizing economic players around digital data in order to optimize the public services provided to users by local authorities.
Mobilization around four strategic axes
Digital connectivity services support the development of uses while strengthening the attractiveness and dynamism of territories. Valérie Nouvel's work, compiled in a report, has given rise to nine recommendations and several concrete measures to ensure the deployment of digital uses that would benefit all communities and businesses.
The report recommends developing digital uses around four priority areas:
plan the strategic deployment of digital uses as a regional planning policy for the success of the ecological transition,
bring together the conditions for a common dialogue between communities and manufacturers , in order to align investment decisions, increase volumes and unify the needs of both parties,
equip the entire French territory with sovereign territorial digital twins co-constructed between the State and local authorities . This proposal will ensure the production, data protection and interoperability essential to the deployment of a digital usage strategy,
develop support solutions around project engineering and the sustainable organization of financing to act around public procurement and technical and economic support for the deployment of uses.
