How to transfer a domain?

Post by israt96235 »

Transferring .net domains follows a similar timeline to transferring .com domains. First, you need to get the authorization code from your current registrar and then start the transfer process.

If the transfer is accepted thailand telegram by the originating entity, the .net domain will be transferred to the new provider within 5-7 days.

For generic domains such as .org or .info the duration of the transfer process is variable. The migration could, in fact, take about 7 days, while in the case of a ccTLD the transfer would be a bit more complex, with a certainly longer timeframe quantified even in several weeks.

As for the .eu domain , the transfer is almost immediate, being concluded within a few hours of starting the procedure.

To transfer a domain, you must first request the AuthCode from the old provider and communicate the owner's data to the provider to which you intend to transfer the domain. Only for .gov, .edu, .mil, .museum and .int domains, management is the prerogative of the reference bodies.

Once the AuthCode has been communicated to the new provider, it is mandatory to approve the email that starts the procedure and is sent to the administrative contact of the domain (if the address of the assignee is not active, it is necessary to contact the Registrar of the domain to have it replaced with a valid email address). You will then receive a communication containing a link that leads to an approval form: if the approval is not carried out within 5 days, the transfer will not be completed.
