Following the lockdown, industrial and technology companies have seen that digitalisation is a necessity. However, it was not a primary task , or even a pending one, for many of them before the COVID-19 crisis locked us in our homes.
We know. It turns out that surveys on the state of digitalisation of marketing and sales were launched and collected just before the lockdown. And although many of the companies participating in this study are implementing digital marketing techniques, they are still in their early stages of digitalisation.

What types of companies participated in the report?
We put the questions to marketing, sales and CEO professionals in industrial and technology companies in the B2B sector. If we divide the participants by sector, 46% are from the industrial sector; 20% from the technology sector; 19% identify with the B2B sector; and 15% are freelancers.
What positions do they occupy in companies?
22% of CEOs or Directors
50% of marketing professionals (36% directors and 14% technicians)
17% of sales professionals (12% directors and 4% salespeople)
All the professionals who participated in this study have helped us identify what the marketing and sales departments in their companies are like. And also, to understand why while many B2C companies are fully digitalized, the B2B sector is having a bit more trouble.
