Meher found her calling and learned new skills through WordPress and now inspires other women to pursue careers in tech.

As a child, Meher was diagnosed with dyslexia (difficulty reading written text) and dyscalculia (difficulty understanding numbers and mathematical functions). With the support of her parents and a tutor, she was able to overcome these obstacles to her education. Not only did she find ways to overcome her own difficulties, but she also developed a strong character, fortitude, and determination to deal with the obstacles that life throws her way.

At school, she had the opportunity to replace one subject with computer studies as an alternative. This opened up a world of new opportunities and a path to a future career.

She began to learn not only what the Internet had to offer, but also how it worked, including the new and exciting concepts of email and websites. Her father bought the family's first desktop computer so she could study at home.

Meher’s father wanted to turn her love for computers into something that could serve her well in the future. In 2005, he enrolled her in a short-term computer course with a global IT service provider. The course phone number library instructor was so impressed with her performance that he advised her to enroll in a four-year course.

She studied software development alongside her studies at Commerce College. Looking back, she enjoyed the challenge of juggling a double workload, and it prepared her well to continue learning software while working as a developer. Over three years, she learned C#, C, C++, HTML, Java and .NET.

After graduating from college, she faced the dilemma of choosing between commerce and IT. Which to choose? She had to undergo a mandatory one-year technology internship, and the choice of specialization for this year became decisive.

In 2009, on her birthday, Meher was offered an internship. On the first day of her internship, she was introduced to WordPress. Her initial task was to change the look and feel of the WordPress admin panel in just six hours. And she immediately ran into a problem – she had never worked with WordPress before!
