Every year, members of the WordPress community provide valuable feedback through an annual survey. For 2022, the survey received a comprehensive update, the first in six years. The total number of questions was reduced from nearly 100 to 29, socioeconomic questions were largely removed, and a Likert scale was introduced. These updates were whatsapp number list intended to increase the speed at which the survey was completed, enable more efficient and structured analysis of this data, and position the survey to best identify the topics that matter most to the WordPress community.
The goal is for the information gathered from the survey to help inform WordPress's initiatives and directions in the near future, along with other signals such as community discussions, Making WordPress blogs , and events.
Key points
The 2022 edition of the survey saw a 26% increase in completion rate, but a 56% decrease in submissions to approximately 3,400, including approximately 800 participants. For the 2023 survey, advertising will be increased, which will hopefully offset the decrease in submissions. The percentage of surveys completed in Russian was 7% (237 participants). We are very much looking forward to seeing more in the 2023 survey!
