Outlook unchecks Gmail, for now…

Post by pappu9268 »

The two giants of email services, Outlook and Gmail, are once again fighting for first place. This time, and taking many by surprise, Outlook has overtaken Gmail and taken over with its new update: Outlook 2016 .

Today it's Outlook, but tomorrow it could be Gmail again. The two main email clients are constantly competing to offer a service that is increasingly focused on the satisfactory user experience. It is no news that both work to continually update themselves and offer a better service.
These ISPs , or Internet Service Providers , have a very important weight indonesia mobile phone number list in the world of email marketing . They are the ones who set the standards and force all those professionals who are dedicated to email marketing to adapt to the new situations that arise. It is clear that if you want to be successful in your email marketing campaign, it is best to work closely with them.
For this reason, it is very important that you keep in mind the changes that are taking place in each of the ISPs and how they can affect or help improve your email marketing.
This time it was Outlook who surprised us with an update that is now available to all subscribers and can be purchased at a reasonable price. This new update includes design elements such as new emojis, but also includes updates to the web app’s functionality, such as “likes” in emails and the ability to tag specific people in the body of an email.

Many people considered this email client a bit boring…So Outlook wanted to put an end to that concept. This new update comes with a more fun experience, with emojis, image editing, the use of GIFs and new themes. In addition, you can now tag your friends in your emails using “@”, or like emails as if they were a Facebook post. A way to make it look like you have read an email without having to reply to it. Easy and efficient.
Without a doubt, we are facing one of the most creative updates of Outlook . It not only plays with the interactions between users but also facilitates access to other applications, such as Skype or online Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). There is no denying that we like things easy and immediate… So Outlook wanted to use that advantage and improve the user experience to make it more functional, and therefore, more satisfactory.

However, it should be added that, as we mentioned in a previous post , the email creation of the new update is still quite poor. Outlook still uses Microsoft Word to create its emails, which means that these are still quite limited in terms of HTML and CSS. So it continues to make things difficult for email marketers.
How has Gmail reacted to the successful update of its rival?
Recently Google has announced to users that, from now on, it will be possible to access Gmail without having a Google account with Gmailify . Yes, we are totally serious. Now Google allows Yahoo, Outlook and Hotmail accounts to use Gmail (at least in the Android App and on the web) in order to provide maximum convenience to users in general, and not just focus on its users. How can you do it? Easy. If you have a Gmail account now you can link it to another account that is not a Gmail account. Once linked you can enjoy the advantages of Gmail without having to change your email address.
