Checking the URL
URL Check in Google Search Console (GSC) is a tool that allows users to analyze specific URLs on their website to understand how Google sees these pages. It is therefore essential for checking individual subpages within our website. After pasting the selected URL address (number 1 on the screenshot) into the bar, we press enter and after a while, our eyes will see a report on the selected page.
We will check if the selected subpage is indexed - we can display the indexed subpage or submit it for indexing. In addition, the tool will provide information about the last crawl of the URL by Google, including indexing status, rendering issues, and possible accessibility issues.

The Performance report in Google Search Console (GSC) is a key analytical tool that provides a deep understanding of how users interact with your website within Google Search. It is one of the most important sources of data to analyze for organic traffic, which can help you develop effective marketing strategies for your website.
The report can be divided into 3 sections:

Effectiveness in search results
This is probably the most visited report by internet marketers. It provides an in-depth analysis of how our website is generating organic traffic from Google. Four main metrics are displayed at the top of the report:
total number of clicks,
total views,
average CTR (click-through rate),
average position.
By default, the total clicks and total impressions metrics are selected.
The report allows you to explore four types of searches: web, image, video and news, and users can additionally filter the results by selecting a date range of interest (GSC includes information from the last 16 months).
Users can see data on queries, pages, countries, device types, and search appearance, which can be sorted by clicks, average CTR, impressions, or average position.
The extensive results filtering capabilities make it possible to analyze only a portion of the URLs that interest us, e.g. all those in the "blog" directory, making it easier to monitor the effects of content marketing activities.
Discover
The Discover report in Google Search Console is a tool that instagram database allows users to monitor their site's performance as part of Google's Discover feature. Don't worry if it's not there for your site, as the report is only displayed to creators whose content has a certain number of views on the feature.

The Discover report is located directly below the search results report in Google Search Console and presents metrics related to the performance of your site in Discover. By default, users will see clicks, impressions, and average CTR (Click-Through Rate) for their site. Data can be filtered by date, page, country, or appearance type.

Indexing
Verification of indexation is one of the mandatory steps in the process of positioning a website . In the indexing report, we will find 3 tabs that help us understand the current indexing status, problems that occur with it, and also check pages that have been deliberately excluded from indexing.

This tab reveals extensive analytical data on the indexing of subpages within our website. Detailed information about the process is presented at the top. The number of subpages indexed in the search engine is highlighted in green, and next to it are URLs that were not included by Google due to errors or intentional actions. There is also a list of potential reasons for the lack of indexing, and after exploring each entry, the user can identify for which URLs the problem was encountered. Pay attention to the column marked as Source - if a website is indicated, the responsibility for fixing the error rests with the user. On the other hand, if the source of the problem is Google Systems, the obstacle does not lie with the website.
The most common problems found in the report are:
page blocked by robots.txt file,
the page contains a redirect,
not found (404),
an alternate page containing the correct canonical page tag,
page excluded with the "noindex" tag,
server error (5xx),
duplicate, user did not mark canonical page,
page detected - currently not indexed,
page scanned but not indexed yet,
duplicate, Google chose a different canonical page than the user.
We can filter results by all submitted pages, all known pages, only unsubmitted pages, or sitemaps.

The “Sitemaps” tab in Google Search Console allows users to submit sitemaps of their websites, which are essential tools that allow crawlers to better understand a site, or to more quickly learn about new URLs created within a website. The report will show you what sitemaps have been submitted. It also includes diagnostic data, such as statistics and various errors related to the submitted sitemaps.
Google supports the following sitemap formats that we can submit: XML, RSS, mRSS, Atom 1.0, and text. Each of these cannot exceed 50 MB in size and cannot contain more than 50,000 URLs.

The "Removals" report in GSC provides important tools for managing your site's visibility in Google search results. It allows you to submit requests to block URLs from appearing in Google.

In the tab you will find the following options:
Temporary Removal - This feature allows you to temporarily remove specific URLs from Google search results for a period of approximately 6 months, without permanently removing them from the search engine's index.
Outdated Content - This feature shows all requests to remove outdated content related to your website in the last 6 months.
SafeSearch Filtering - allows you to report sites with adult content.
