Compliment your lead

Post by surovy111 »

Let’s say your lead is a startup founder in their early 20s and speaks in a conversational manner. Make sure you communicate informally and not formally, and pepper your pitch with startup terms they’re familiar with (for example: talk to them about how to gain “traction”).

On the other hand, what if you were talking to a CEO in his forties, someone more traditional? In that case, speak in more formal language and convey a sense of professionalism.

11. Connect your lead with someone they want to meet
An easy way to build a relationship with a lead? Help them by offering a connection.

The most obvious way to do this would be to link a prospect to your lead, but if that’s not possible, you can also connect your lead in other ways.

For example, if your lead is looking to hire a marketing professional, connect them with gcash data anyone in your network who might be a good fit.

A sincere compliment can go a long way. Here are some things you can compliment your lead on:

Their results
Their knowledge
Their business sense
Their leadership/management skills
Their work ethic
Don’t overdo it: just say, “It’s amazing how much you’ve accomplished with your startup in just one year.”

13. Share helpful content with your lead
You probably have a lot of case studies, blog posts, and other content on your site. Don't let this content go to waste... share it with your lead!

The key here is to curate your content based on your leads’ needs/wants, instead of sending them generic, non-personalized content.

Again, this helps you build rapport with your lead and gets you one step closer to the point where they ask you to send them a sales pitch.
