In my humble view, a book that interests readers will appeal to the senses of sight, hearing, and touch (in this article, touch is derived from interaction).
Before we dive into the main topic, let’s take a look at the core parts of the multimedia editor.
We can divide the editor into 6 parts, the picture below is for your reference.
Area 1: Top navigation bar
Area 2: Left menu bar
Area 3: Left submenu panel
Area 4: Canvas Area
Area 5: Timeline Area
Area 6: Right Element Properties Panel

How to Use Your Sensory Skills in a Flip Book
Sense 1: Vision
Sight is like what you see with your eyes, it is also the first sense that readers use when reading a book. For this reason, we may create some visible focal points to grab the attention of readers. There are visible lines of movement when we read a book. On the other hand, we need to add interest to the book to create visible highlights, but we must be careful not to focus too much on the cluttered image.
Example Image 1: Drawing a tour route
Step 1: Select [Tools] > [Brush] in the left menu bar of Area 2.
Step 2: Draw a route according to your plan.
Click once on the canvas to start drawing, click again to draw the next overseas chinese in europe data point, and double-click to end drawing. You can also select [Curves] in the right element properties panel if you don't want to use straight lines.
The flipbook home page has a video tutorial.

Sight-Example 2: Add a hotspot
Step 1: In Areas 2 and 3, click [Interaction]>[Interaction]>[Hotspots] and add at least one hotspot to the canvas.
Currently, hotspots are divided into five categories as listed below: Blink, Zoom, Rotate, Gestures, and Arrows. You can select the appropriate hotspot depending on the effect you want.
Step 2: In Area 6, customize the hotspot in [Style] and add a trigger action. You can associate the hotspot with a pop-up message window, video, image, link, or other supported items.
Sense 2: Hearing (sound)
American director and actor Melvin Van Peebles once said that music and sound in a film are as important characters as the other characters. Sound also plays an important role in setting the mood in digital publications. If you are creating a storybook, we recommend that you include music or voiceovers to create an audiobook, which will bring the book to life.
Hearing-Example 1: Increase the volume.
Steps: Select [Audio] and an audio player, then add the mp3 file to the program.
If you find it difficult to create your own sounds, you can download audio files from commercially available audio sites, such as FreePD and YouTube Audio Library .
Hearing-Example 2: Adding a sound trigger action
Increase the sound with the trigger and the sound will play when you click on any item.
Step 1: In Area 2: Left Menu Bar, click [Interact]>[Button] and place the button on the canvas.
Step 2: In Area 6: Right Element Properties Panel, click [Style] to customize the button (text, icon, and color), and then click [Action Trigger] > [Play Sound] .
Note: In addition to buttons, you are allowed to add sound trigger actions to any item, including images, text, links, and more. I'm just using buttons as an example here.
Sense 3: Interaction
Interaction-Example 1: Conducting a survey
Many FlipBuilder users have inquired whether our program supports forms and questionnaires. Unfortunately, these two features are not supported yet. Wait, there is still a way to include questionnaires or forms in a flipbook. We can use other survey tools to create questionnaires and embed them into a flipbook.
