The total number of quotas sold by the Consortium System increased by 7.8% from January to October 2024. With a 4.5% increase in the average ticket, the total amount of credits sold by the sector reached almost R$313.5 billion, an increase of over 20%.
Of the six segments that make up the Consortium System, there was an increase in the total number of quotas sold in five. They are: electronics and other durable goods, with 54.6%; real estate, with 27.9%; services, with 12.2%; light vehicles, with 4.3%; and motorcycles, with 4.1%. The only segment to record a reduction was heavy vehicles, with a drop of 21.9%.

Consortium System by segment
Light Vehicle Consortium
All indicators grew in the light vehicle consortium, which is the largest among the consortium segments in terms of active participants. The volume of credits sold reached almost R$97 billion, the result of 1.45 million quotas sold in the year to date up to October. In the same period, the volume of credits made available increased by 16.6%, reaching close to R$38 billion.
Motorcycle Consortium
The number of active participants in the two-wheel consortium, the second largest in the System, reached 3.07 million, growing 9.6% in October. The increase in the average monthly ticket and in the sales of quotas resulted in just over R$21 billion in the volume of credits sold, increasing 12.2% over last year, from January to October.
